Robert Gyula Cey-Bert - Many novels have been written about the Hungarian revolution of 1956, but none have succeeded in portraying the uplifting spirit of the fight for freedom. I felt it important to emphasize the Budapest Boys’ burning passion and love for their homeland. It is how we were capable of withstanding the frightening Soviet tank divisions and confront them with gasoline bottle. After the fight for freedom was drowned in blood, Dr. Robert Gyula Cey-Bert, then known as Corvin Square Robi did not give up the idea of freedom. He continued the struggle and fought for freedom in parts of the world where people took up arms against oppressive powers. His poems beautifully reflect these peoples' love for their homeland and desire for freedom. A quote by Gergely Pongratz, the commander of Corvin Square on the author's poem titled “Give me freedom or give me death” from his book of poems published in 2004. I admire my friend Robi’s exceptional talent in using his memory to bring back to life the legendary Budapest Boys, amd my brothers commander Gergely and Odon, who now have earned their rightful place in Hungarian history. Andras Pongratz Phoenix, Arizona The most staggering heartfelt novel about the 1956 fight for freedom helping to point the way towards a better future; it is relevant today as it was in 1956 that there is no other way but freedom and independance for the Hungarian nation. Prof. Dr. Otto Csampai historian Nagyszombat “Finally a novel about the Hungarian 1956 fight for freedom that strengthens the nation's spirit. Only someone who actually paripicated in the battles could have written such a book. It is a mandatory read for all young people who love their homeland. Count Istvan Bethlen
